Golden Eye Chef 2026
World’s First and Only Global Cooking Contest
for the Blind and Visually Impaired Chefs
What if talent remained invisible —
Not because it didn’t exist, but because it couldn’t see?
Blind chefs cook independently every day. Yet very few ever get a stage where their skills are judged equally.
Why This Matters ?
285+ million people live with visual impairment globally.
Countless are skilled professionals, yet visibility gaps keep them out of the public eye.
Talent exists — opportunity often does not.
Golden Eye Chef bridges that gap — converting untapped ability into public opportunity.

When Vision Is Lost, Courage Learns to See
In a small kitchen in Indore, the lights are always on — but not for Pinky Mangal.
Pinky is completely blind due to retinal pigmentation. She sees no colours, no shapes, no shadows. Yet every day, she cooks independently — without assistance, without special arrangements, and without compromise.
Her cooking is guided not by sight, but by memory, touch, aroma, and sound.
For five consecutive years (2021–2025), Pinky returned to the Golden Eye Chef platform, refusing to let blindness define her limits. In 2025, she became the 2nd Runner-Up, earning three Jury Awards and four People’s Choice Awards.
She later appeared on MasterChef India, cooking alongside her daughter-in-law. On a national stage, she challenged a long-held assumption — that excellence in cooking requires vision. Chef Vikas Khanna called her “extraordinary.”
